Yep yes! That’s why I am googling this. I had a CM in February and since then I have gained 10-12 lbs. my weight is always very constant and only goes up when something is off in my system. I don’t know it if just happens to coorelate with the CM timing, but it feels like my body thinks it’s still pregnant somehow and I’m gaining at the rate of my first pregnancy. The crazy thing is there is some bloating feeling but otherwise I can really see where that 12 lbs is sitting on my body.. except someone asked “are you expecting” the other day, so that was fun.

I’m sorry for your loss, OP.

I had trouble with weight gain / loss after multiple miscarriages and ivf. It just affects some people that way. But you should normalize in time, just closely track what you’re eating and how you’re moving your body. If things still seem off kilter, I’d talk to your doctor I’d you haven’t already.

I didn't have this following a chemical pregnancy but i have heard of it being hard to lose weight post miscarriage which i imagine is the same concept. Drink lots of water and eat lots of fibre helps flush excess hormones out which will help weight loss.

I’m googling this now and found this answer. I’m experiencing the same thing. I had a chemical my last cycle and my body is behaving/looking/feeling so different than what I’m used to. Big bulge in the belly and the scale keeps going up. Nothing has changed with diet or exercise either.

Hmm, I did but it was over the holidays so I attributed it to that. Let us know if you find out something different!

And, of course, I am sorry for your loss. I had a CM over the holidays and a miscarriage last week, it sucks.

I had a chemical pregnancy about 6 weeks ago and since then I've gained 15 lbs (!). I don't think I have been comfort eating or really doing anything different--to the contrary I've had a closer eye on portion sizes due to working from home and already having gained a couple lbs snacking too much.

I googled it but every article puts the blame on depression/overeating. Has anyone had a similar experience?
