I mean for a piano that’s not directly against the window. At least a foot away.

You’ll damage the soundboard of the piano placing it against windows. Find somewhere else.

We are moving into a new home where there is no good wall to place our upright piano against. It’s got windows and doors everywhere.
So we may end up placing the piano against a wall with windows that face the front of the house.
Now is there anyways to make this look okay? And will the heat/cold that comes from a north facing window damage our piano?
