Right? How is that possible? My son's camp in MD cancelled and told us that it was because the state will not allow any overnight camps to operate.

Sleepaway camps in MD are prohibited.

Out-of-state campers are also prohibited. We live in DC and regularly pop over into MD for camps, but that is not allowed this year. I'm ok with that.

Camp Allegheny announced its cancellation today.

I know of some in PA that are planning to open (mine is).

I thought sleepaway camps weren’t allowed to open in MD yet, even in Phase 2?

Shohola in PA. Boys only. One session that is 3 weeks.

Got an email from Camp Rim Rock in WV. They are opening.

Camp Modin in Maine

Camp Hidden Meadows in WV opening in July I think (fingers crossed). Shohola in PA is opening I think. Camp Wayfarer in NC is opening.

Some sleepa way camps like Tall Timbers and Twin Creeks in WV canceled their first few sessions but are tentatively planning to open in late July. Of course, this could change.

Ours in Maryland won’t open and I have heard of other in NC and DE. Curious who is operating.
