This. I have a protein shake and nuts around 3pm and then often work out 2 hours later. Dinner is usually at 730 as well.

+1 This is what I do as well. Breakfast between 11-12, lunch between 2-4 (whenever I am hungry again) and dinner between 7-8. If I do get hungry in between meals, I pretty much always have a cheese stick, greek yogurt, apple or tall skim latte from Starbucks.

I usually have a protein shake and some fruit around 3pm. I also make a homemade version of KIND bars, so if I’m really hungry, I’ll have one of those as well.

I throw a banana and some frozen fruit in the blender with a little water. I find this more satisfying than a protein drink. I avoid dairy and soy so that limits my options.

I know what you mean - it’s the same with me. I have lost 16 lbs since Dec! So psyched! That is the hardest time Of day and my family has so many junky snacks in the house!

I always have raw Nuts on hand or an avocado if I have one. a hunk of cheese- especially if I know what’s coming for dinner. A few bites of leftover meat from the fridge. I try to keep beef jerky and smoked salmon in the house but I have to hide it well.

Sometimes I lose it at that hour and then I just have salad for “dinner” with the family.

Mid afternoon is my hungriest part of the day. I would eat dinner at 5ish if I weren’t married. But given that I get really hungry around 4 and won’t eat dinner until 7.30ish, does anyone have any healthy and hearty snack recommendations?
