There are some available now (we haven't met them yet, so don't know personalities), but we'll be away for two weeks later in the summer, renting a house at a beach town a few hours away. Should we wait until we're back to adopt two kittens, or should we take advantage of this opportunity to get kittens now and either take them with us to the beach house or leave them with a friend?
One concern is that I don't know how hard it may be to get kittens at the end of summer versus now.

The idea of adopting in the beach town is promising, though.
