OP here--yes, there were several people in line with me that showed up because they never received their absentee ballots.
That's unfortunate. Absentee voting is one way to reduce the spread of the virus. Perhaps we should file complaints with the DC BOE?
OP again--I did. I also signed up as a volunteer to work the booths in November. This is not rocket science and I'll be damned if I'm going to let it happen again.
