They don't know, since votes could still be mailed until Tuesday.

There's no % number because balloting was mostly by mail, and so final resutls won't be in until 6/12 to give time for the ballots to all arrive and be counting. I believe tonight's count is all ballots received by mail as of Monday + in-person voting today. I know DW put her ballot in the mail on Monday, so it won't even show up there for a couple days. Ballots had to be postmarked by Tuesday 6/2.

Oh please. The man chose to live in Montgomery County, MD - not Montgomery, AL. The rhetoric on both sides shows how far MoCo has fallen in terms of civility. Fortunately, if Harris - who had an incredible conflict of interest as the only MCPS employee running for the BoE - wins she and her colleagues will have little money to do much of anything substantive. (While Docca is on the payroll she at least retired from the place). As usual it’s the kids who will suffer - there is always money for pensions and free healthcare for the adults. Not too much else left after those payments for the kids.

Ws, look out, as Lynne hates you and will be out to tear you apart. Or maybe they'll all just move their kids to privates, and the sinking of MCPS will happen faster.

Sad day for Montgomery County. Glad my youngest will be a senior next year, and we won't have to live with any decisions she is a part of.

Wow, poor showing for Guan, and Harris is doing better than expected. Looks like it's somewhat close between Dasgupta and Austin, though Dasgupta has a strong lead.

I'm surprised Dasgupta trails Harris so far, given he had the Apple Ballot (teachers union) endorsement. Guess they are losing clout.

Looks like votes in represent about 10% of registered voters so far. Lower than I expected.
