I have been riding Peloton and have maybe taken three days off in the last 11 weeks. I don’t go hard every day and sometimes I take a week or so and do easier rides. I try to listen to my body and my brain. When I Started riding, it was so good for my mental health that I decided to do it daily.
I do either a 30 minute ride and 5 minute stretch or a 20 minute ride, 10 minute arms toning, and 5 minute stretch every day. I’m also trying to get back into at least 5 minutes of meditation a day.
I’ll often do longer rides, especially on weekends or when I ride at night.
Last week I was really lacking motivation and most of my regular ride types felt incredibly hard. This week, I think I’ve only done low impact and power zone endurance rides. I decided it was good to slow down and focus on form and really feel my body reacting during the rides. The focus on endurance this week has been positive both mentally and physically.
