I roll my eyes at the people who have no vulnerable issues and say "I dont' want to risk it! It's not safe to go to the grocery stores!" but they are totally ok with having some minimally paid person risk exposure. It's just this kind of "I'm more important, my life matters more" type of attitude that bothers me


You can roll your eyes all you want, such an attractive look but it really isn't any of your concern why anyone else uses an available, paid service.

Like PP said these services have been around for awhile. I'm not going to stop using them now because someone from the mommy forum doesn't think it's a very nice thing to do.

Have used Peapod and grocery delivery services for years. It only became difficult recently. I have actually been doing more contactless pickup post pandemic. I would guess that if we all stopped using these services, people would be out of jobs.

If people can afford the service, I have no issue with them using it. I am working full time with two kids at home. We have our groceries delivered every week.

This exactly. I’ve been picking up orders curbside and mainly because of the stress and time of actually going into a store.

I think it’s fine and I go to the stores myself. Right now going to the stores is a big ordeal—standing in line to get in, wearing the mask, steering clear of others. Even if you’re not vulnerable it can bring out some anxiety. And like a pp said, someone is getting paid to do a job and that job may be helping them feed their family.

Pretty sure those workers are happy to have a job and make money, so yes, I will continue to order my groceries.
