Again?! When will this stop? Many years ago, when I was attending state university, I had a work study job in the campus police department. One of the first things my lieutenant told me was to never do or say anything you don't want on the 6:00 news. That was solid advice I carry with me today. Seems like it should be the mantra of police everywhere. (Ironically, some years later, that lieutenant ended up on the 6:00 news when his 3 year old got a hold of his service weapon and killed himself. He blamed the safe.)

Those two police officers need to be charged with homicide, the victim’s family should receive a windfall and a public apology from the police chief, and all of the city’s police officers need to be re-trained in proper restraint techniques. This should not have happened. This death was 100% foreseeable and preventable. This was wanton disregard for another human being’s life. Thank God there’s video.
