Same. My friend recently posted a video of her kid learning to ride without training wheels. I loved seeing it!

The reality is, you can't post anything that doesn't have the remote possibility of offending someone. If you're going to be that bothered by seeing a kid riding a bike, then social media probably isn't for you. I had to take a break from it when I went through something traumatic. Now, I love seeing those posts that once made me tearful

Post it! I love to see videos of my friends’ kids! I also love vacation photos, happy family photos, birthdays, anniversaries, awards, graduations .... That’s what Facebook is for!

Well, sure - it is bragging, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. People post on social media for attention. I'm sure it is a cute video and I'm sure you're a proud parent. Share if you want. Or just send to a few select family members. No one *really* cares anyway; not saying that to be hateful, but how many photos or videos of other peoples' kids do *you* really care about?

I feel like it’s braggy because he’s so young. And also annoying bcs no one really cares.

Maybe I answered my own question.

I posted the picture of my 2yo riding the bike. It never occurred to me that this was something to brag about. Stop focusing milestones, OP.

Oh that’s wonderful. Not bragging. It’s a big deal and I’d be happy to see it. Short clip, simple caption. Oh congratulations to him!!!

Post it. Kids develop at different levels. If that makes someone insecure, they shouldn’t be on social media.

- poster with 7 year old still learning how to ride

Post it, people who aren’t interested won’t click anyway.

I wouldn't. Parents can be so insecure about milestones and some may have kids who are quite a bit behind for various reasons. If hate to make them feel less than even for a second.

But you should definitely send the video to all the grandparents, aunts and uncles!

Congrats! My 12yo DD finally learned to ride a bike at the beginning SIP. Never had interest before and doesn’t like to go fast. But she managed to teach herself in an afternoon. Yeah, now we can bike ride as a family!

If you have to question it, don't do it.

I like to see people's kids doing cute things on social media, and unless you write "OMG He's only two! Isn't he amazing!" I don't think I would think of it as bragging.

So, I vote post.
