We got an 8x10 when our elderly dog became in continent. She also had arthritis. The ruggable is so thin that it’s still just like walking on hard wood. I knew it would be minimal cushion buts it’s literally none at all. We ended up getting rid of it. For us it was a big waste of money.

FWIW, we have a very vomity dog and we got a "spot bot" style shampooer. It works well on carpet and rugs. (We also started giving the dog antacid twice a day.)


Yeah, imo vomit is nbd. Soak it in nature's miracle and then spot-bot it.
The real problem has been my poor little guy with bladder cancer. Even that though, we could treat immediately with NM and once we figured out what was happening we could keep him off the rugs and just sent them out to be washed. Wool is pretty indestructible, it's just that sending it out for washing is expensive.

Sounds good for like a galley kitchen size. We wash our kitchen rug often, so this might be best. Thoughts.

I’m interested, but I think it would really only be suitable for a small rug that you want to be at able to wash in the machine. If you get one that is too big for a machine, what’s the point? The whole value proposition is its being washable.…

thanks for posting these reviews. I was about to order an 8x10 until I saw these! I'll hold off on a larger rug from them, but it sounds like they might be okay for a smaller entryway rug that needs to be washed.

I have the 5x7 and find it impossible to vacuum. Even with my Dyson stick on “low pile”, it gets sucked up. And one of the corners is curled. It does wash up fine and I like that aspect of it. I initially bought this smaller size to test it out and see if I would like enough to buy larger ones. I will not be repurchasing.

I have one on order at the advice of a friend and specifically asked her about the vacuum issue. It wasn’t a problem for her so I’m hopeful but will update

I have an 8x10. I've never tried putting it in the machine because that seems impossible. Also, it's a pain to vacuum because the rug top layer is quite thin and just gets sucked up, and then it's difficult to smooth it back out. I regret my purchase.

However, I can see it being a good rug for someone with allergies, in that it has no pile.

Are you able to wash it in a standard size washing machine? How has it held up?
