Was it kisco coach diner? I’m so sad it closed. I grew up in Mt. kisco, long before the Clintons ever arrived, and the diner reference made me nostalgic.
It was Chappaqua Restaurant & Cafe. It looks like it’s since closed (I lived there in the late 90s/early 00s). My mom had just picked me up from middle school (Bell MS) and we saw him. She gave me the NYTimes that was in our car and I ran out and got his autograph. He was dressed in all denim and had a gaggle of middle-aged women following him. It was pretty hilarious.

Apparently it's a very old but well-preserved tejano singer whose name I never got. We were wandering through a festival in San Antonio and stumbled upon a MASSIVE line of people waiting to get his autograph. We kept going and somehow ended up at the front of the line and someone shoved us closer to the guy and someone else took a photo.
Still no idea who he was, but he was seriously famous.

Barack Obama. Met him once in ‘04 when I was a political blogger and another time in ‘08 at a fundraiser.
I’ve emailed Ed Norton a few times but haven’t gotten to meet him in person.
