I called it from the start. When everyone was praising him for being so selfless and down to earth, I knew he was self-promoting. He was literally on the cusp of being A list when the pandemic hit, and he was so thirsty to remain relevant that he created a bit to keep him in the limelight. I knew he wasn’t doing this out of the kindness of his heart “for the people.”
He’s profiting off of the pandemic, just like I knew he would. Gross. Not cool.
Plus, like posters in another thread have commented, he’s ugly.

Yep.
At the end of the day he is an actor, writer and director. This was something to help him get through quarantine that took off. Were people expecting him to do this forever? I would be shocked if any of his celebrity friends (in a town where you have to sell your soul to make it) would care that he sold SGN. They were probably the ones telling him to sell if he could.

Anonymous wrote:SGN was very on-brand for him. I loved it and understood why he stopped after a bit. I figured that would be it. The CBS announcement was a little too quick and I think that’s why it was so off-putting.
At the same time, he did produce Lip Sync Battle, which spin off from parties he held at his house (yes, Jimmy Fallon was part of that too). The first batch of episodes were all his friends, so they’re all used to calling in favors like this.
