My friend's dad is a plumber and he does pretty well...he was the sole breadwinner in the family and he sent his kids to private school full pay around here (they're from Montgomery County).

Yes, I don't get why it's a question. Let's say we get together and have similar interests (or, like my husband and me, we're willing and interested to explore each other's interests). My Dh is an engineer who introduced me to competitive distance running and tons of outdoor activities. I introduced him to community theatre and non-Italian restaurants : ) I don't really care about occupation, so long as the person can make a living. But I would care if someone didn't want to go to plays or couldn't introduce me to people and activities that I wanted to know more about.

Yep, because you know what? He's not bringing any student debt into that relationship AND you'd never have to worry about calling a plumber.

But in my case it would have to be a "she" since I'm a lesbian and I would be more than okay with that.
