Initially less than 10 per group, no contact, mostly working on individual skills and conditioning. Then ramping up to more traditional team training in mid to late June, then hopefully intra-club and friendly matches over July and August. The club will only proceed with the plan if Virginia state guidelines allow and will adjust accordingly. Are any other clubs talking about getting back to organized in-person activities or are we the guinea pigs?
Where are they doing this? Park authority isn't giving out permits and canceled their own summer camps. This is at best highly uninformed and more likely setting them to lose allocations and insurance.
Safe to assume they are not in Fairfax County. If our fields were opened, our clubs would be opening like this, too.
