I was wondering how daycares would play out considering most of the state is reopening. For phase 1, those that must go back to work per the Hogan, as the state reopens, may use the essential daycares. The state will pay until June 7th. On June 8th, all parents will pay for their tuition. Daycares will receive a grant to purchase cleaning supplies.
Who thought this plan through? A lot of the daycares already open cannot take anymore kids.
Agreed. This plan is absolutely ridiculous unless they plan to let the other daycares reopen on or before June 8th.
Last I checked, they weren't even accepting applications for additional daycares to reopen under the essential personnel provisions.
