I'm PP above. I see now that you got him "a scalp scrubby thing" but maybe try another type. And yeah, he needs to be overseen more so he's actually using it. I get the idea of wanting him to be independent and feel like a big kid, but if you're noticing a smell, others will notice it too, and at some point someone is going to say something.

Head and shoulders? I have very thick and dense hair (I am a woman), no dandruff, but I like that it rinses well unlike other shampoos that leave a greasy film on my hair. The scent is not too strong.

How old is your son? Why cheerfully? I am guessing toddler?

Maybe he isn’t rinsing well. Try Neutrogena clarifying shampoo once a week.

So I got him a scalp scrubby thing and he uses it but probably not as well as an adult would. Im thinking a good foamy shampoo, but wld like brand recommendations
