You took her comment the wrong way and ended up looking like a loon. Who really cares about this stuff!

You're not sensitive, you're insane.

There is nothing fun or exciting about kitty litter. She was not being snarky.

You massively overreacted. She probably meant that it didn’t sound like fun as compared to something like new pet toys.

It sounds like she was making small talk and you took it in a bizarrely personal way and lashed out.

Wow you need to get a grip! And apologize to your neighbor. You have officially earned the crazy cat lady moniker

+1. I would have assumed that's what she meant. Dealing with cat litter is the opposite of fun. I have cats and dogs.

Compared to walking a dog and picking up dog s*** even when it’s raining or cold. Not being able to sleep in ever! Hmmmmm that’s a big no from me. Live in condo btw.

Picking up dog poop is also “not fun.” That doesn’t make changing cat litter any more enjoyable!

Cat and dog are both equally insane.

OP and her neighbor are nuts.

If that were the case I’m sure most new moms would not appreciate that comment at all!

As I was opening my chewy delivery outside my neighbor asked what I had there and I said cat litter. (I have 3 cats and she has a small dog). She says, “oh that doesn’t sound like fun” . I responded with, “at least I don’t have to walk them and can sleep in” and slammed the door. I think cat people and dog people can be just as bad as republicans and democrats.
