You took her comment the wrong way and ended up looking like a loon. Who really cares about this stuff!

You massively overreacted. She probably meant that it didn’t sound like fun as compared to something like new pet toys.

It sounds like she was making small talk and you took it in a bizarrely personal way and lashed out.

Picking up dog poop is also “not fun.” That doesn’t make changing cat litter any more enjoyable!

As I was opening my chewy delivery outside my neighbor asked what I had there and I said cat litter. (I have 3 cats and she has a small dog). She says, “oh that doesn’t sound like fun” . I responded with, “at least I don’t have to walk them and can sleep in” and slammed the door. I think cat people and dog people can be just as bad as republicans and democrats.
