My friend lives in that neighborhood and her 88-year-old grandmother was robbed last winter while delivering Christmas presents to her front door.

The victim is an aide who works at the nursing home right there.

Perhaps you're not in health care so I'll help you out here: we work days AND nights. Sometimes the shift ends at midnight or other odd times.

Sometimes, some lower wage workers take public transit, which is right there at 4300 Military.

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District seek the public’s assistance in identifying suspects in reference to an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, May 16, 2020, in the 4300 block of Military Road, Northwest.

At approximately 2:00 am, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and then brandished a handgun. The suspects took property from the victim and then fled the scene.

The suspects were captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below.”
