I did PACE in person and when I filled out the form I got no response until it was pretty much time to join a group, then they sent me an email with a lot of information (Group A is in X location and has 4 spots and will start Y date, Group B is in XX location and will start YY date, etc. Decide by Friday, first come first served!). If it's the same for virtual groups and you're still pregnant you might not get a response for a while.

I’ve met a few moms for outdoor, distanced walks with masks and all of us message, cheer, and support constantly via WhatsApp. Certainly not as good as long lunches and in person meetups, but it’s all I could ask for amid covid.

My neighborhood listserv has a new mom's group, or you could find people on Nextdoor or though mutual friends for a lot cheaper.
