DS is seven and has always been close to the nanny he had when he was a toddler. Pre-virus, they saw each other every week. He face times with her all the time. Last week, he was talking to her and said “Nanny, when I see you in person I’m gonna hug the stuffing out of you!”

My six-year-old asked where Dad was. I told him he was downstairs in the garage washing the car (we’re in a condo in the city). DS looks at me with disbelief and then says, “What is this world coming to?!”
