We’d know if he would have said so. Instead he wanted to be a "victim"

And the homeowner who gave out the gate code will be responsible to pay the HOA back.

A good idea would be to find out who had the package delivered and not commit the tort of false imprisonment.

Read the article. They asked who he delivered to, he refused to say. They were wrong for blocking him in, but "I delivered to 1234 x street" and it would have been over.

Seems reasonable... if it has nothing to do with the driver himself? Huh? Your comment makes zero sense.

This was clearly about a bunch of wannabe tough guys who have nothing better to do except harass people just doing their job, harming no one.

I highly, HIGHLY doubt they block every person who visits the neighborhood, delivery person or guest or contractor or whomever.

In theory, yes. But to hold me against my will when I have not committed a crime. Come on man.

Considering it’s a white dude harassing a black delivery driver, I think this is more than just “who gave you the code”.

Companies should refuse delivery services into that gated community. This is a risk for their employees and a liability for their company.

A man was making a delivery in a gated community. After he finished with his customer, a man block in his marked delivery truck with his car for over an hour and demanded that the driver tell him where he was coming from and headed to. He claims that he is the HOA president. He then called for backup from another neighbor who also demanded that the driver provide his customer's personal information. The driver recorded the exchange on FB live. https://www.facebook.com/tjmiller63/videos/10163890984630604/

It's a long video, so there's also a shorter newscast summarizing everything: https://kfor.com/news/caught-on-camera-delivery-driver-blocked-into-neighborhood-by-hoa-president/

WTF is up with people and their unmitigated gall?
