That whole MAC conference is a mess. The football is terrible and the schools pour money into football teams so that one MAC team advances to a crappy bowl game that, oh by the way, the school is obligated to buy tickets for.
Akron had to buy its own football tickets to tell the NCAA it hit its attendance minimums for football

Being announced Thursday. Other schools sure to follow. Interesting fact: More than half of Akron's athletes are nonscholarship. Which proves again that most DI schools are not giving out scholarships nearly as much as parents think.
