I have three kids 6 and under and my two girls, ages 1 and 2, fight ALL damn day. It's exhausting and I'm just trying to figure out what, if anything, I'm doing wrong. My brother and I are 10 years apart so maybe this sibling rivalry is normal.

I'm the PP. Believe you me, I have tried everything but when you are wearing plastic gloves, the plastic on plastic does not create friction.

Since this is an anonymous forum, I'll share a story that will hopefully make you laugh, at my expense. There was one time where I walked briskly in the supermarket for 5 minutes and then returned to the produce section where I then used the condensation from my armpit to open a few produce bags. Voila. I'm not proud of it but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to get her produce.

They make reusable produce bags! Better for the environment, you can reuse them, AND you don't need armpit sweat on all your produce to get them open!

If it makes you feel any better, OP, I yelled at my son so loud last night I literally peed my pants. Not my finest moment.

I reuse my face mask. No biggie, right?

Well, I have stank breath.

That stank breath stays on the inside of my face mask.

Whenever I go to CVS or wherever, I am reminded that I have stank breath and try to hold my breath while I'm in the store.

But when I get to my car, I take off my mask and forget that the mask is stanky.

In summary, my breath stinks, I am forgetful, and I need to go buy some new masks right now.

I spend the morning working with a few recovery programs that try to stick old bits together, but they found nothing. I did find a file name trail that showed someone (ahem, kids!) moved it to the Trash but it was too many days ago to get back. Of course I got sick just outside the 30 day window. I think it's gone forever. That will teach me not to email to myself every night like I used to do.

OP here -- thanks so much, don't worry I won't do anything stupid, I'm already recreating the order and getting my research file back out and stuff. this isn't a cry for help or anything, I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression. I just can't believe this is happening after all I have been through.

Oh god I’m SO sorry. That’s awful.

COVID/work/trying to homeschool, I had to have 4 surgeries in April (unrelated to COVID but an emergency), spent 10 days in the hospital, barely back on my feet....and now it turns out that the legal brief I had completely finished, except one section I had a junior working on, before my illness was somehow deleted from my hard drive and cloud during all this and the resulting kids on my computer trying to distance learn.

I just want to give up. I spent weeks on it and not to pat myself on the back, but it was REALLY good. Now I have nothing but my random thoughts the first day I made the file, which changed so many times after that. At least I opened it today to add the junior's section and found out.

I just can't. At least I have a little more time to recreate it, but honestly this is just devastating. I don't have the energy to do it all again.

Also, my file of notes also poofed and has nothing but the names of the committee I was working with. NOTHING ELSE.

I want to cry. I am so tired.

Feel free to share your own vent, no matter how small. I am sure in a year I'll laugh about this, but now I just don't have it in me.
