Our family dentist sent out an email outlining their new procedures, and I’m guessing a lot of things they usually do to set kids at ease might be hard to manage right now.
Hopefully pediatric dentists will figure out new ways to make up for not being able to see smiles or catch the warmth in a voice.
Our dentist sent an email saying all magazines and toys have been removed from the waiting area. They said they'll try and keep wait times to a minimum but emphasized that patients arrive promptly as they are spacing out appointments more than usual. so sounds like they are taking a lot of precautions.
