No, but my elderly neighbors had friends and family over for the afternoon. And several of my work colleagues shared their get togethers. I am feeling very morally superior at the moment,to be honest.

We visited two sets of parents today. Stayed outside for the duration of both visits and kept our distance. It was really lovely. Our parents are in their 70s and 80s. They might not have much time left, covid or not. I’m really glad we were able to spend some time with them.

Doubtful. There were tons of family and even church related get togethers over Easter and there wasn't a death spike then. There won't be one after Mother's Day, either.

I don't know anyone who did this who hasn't already been living with or in contact with their parents.

I did not see my mom today and I would not because I have no interest in killing her. But I did post a picture of her and my dad and it’s possible people may have drawn from that that I saw her today

This whole thing has gotten so extremely out of hand. We are weeks past the peak and most of our areas never saw that many people getting seriously sick anyway.

I saw my mom today. We had a nice family get together (less than 9 of us), outside. None of us feel ill or have been around ill people. We didn't hug each other and maintained a reasonable distance.

At this point the chances of Mom getting sick with the Coronavirus from a visit like this is pretty much slim to none. We broke no rules, we used proper caution and we had fun, too.

We didn't see anyone today. There was a definite bump two weeks after Easter.

All across my Facebook feed are pictures of friends celebrating Mother’s Day today with their own moms or other family members who they are not currently living with. Is staying home and social distancing over? I am really surprised so many people felt this was the time to “cheat” and see family. Guessing people are just over it but it doesn’t seem like the risks of getting parents or older family risks are any lower now. Wonder if there will be a spike in cases 2-3 weeks from now.
