Sorry, no. NP here and I’m not going to let my mother get hurt on mother’s day or her birthday because my college-aged brothers are selfish assholes. Yeah, I prod them and will continue to do so for my mom’s sake.

I must have missed this official rule. I somehow made it through 15 years of marriage without it.

I participate in the phone call or the FT call that is initiated by my husband. We're either on speakerphone, or on a video call. I do not need to call seperately.

Why? Just, why? Why is SIL texting me to tell me she just spoke to MIL and MIL told her she hadn’t heard from DH yet today, and can I remind him to call his mom. ??? This whole dynamic makes it ever so apparent why he’s been putting that call off all day.
