I keep hearing that about trampolines on DCUM but that wasn’t true for me or anyone else I know who has one. Never hurts to check though.

Amica charges more for trampolines.

We have a little Tykes bounce house. It is super easy to put and take down. 5 year old can put it up herself. Takes husband 5 min or less to pack it up. Comes with a bag to store it in. Unless it is predicted to be windy, we don’t use the ground stakes. Kids are also never unattended so I don’t worry that they will fly away.

If you have a bounce house what do you do about the grass?
We have access to one we share and havent used it for more than 2-3 days at a time because it kills the grass and is a pain to pack up and move.

I'm the pp who said dome climber- this is the same one I have. Mine was at Costco years ago, sometimes they get them back. I never thought of adding a swinging disk, thanks!

My kids love their water table and a playhouse. They can play for hours in the backyard which has really saved my sanity.

We have the Little Tykes bounce house and my kids are obsessed with it and have played with it every day for the past 3 months. It's about $250 and it does fold down fairly small, so it's a good compromise to larger more expensive equipment. Plus you can use it indoors if it rains.

Inflatable bounce house
Raised sandbox with umbrella
Inflatable pool with slide(s)
Tetherball
Trampoline (obviously this would only be for your oldest child - get one with a lock)
Basketball hoop

If your oldest likes sports such as lacrosse, a rebounder is awesome and allows him to practice his skills alone.

We have a play set with swings, slide (used by 3&5) and monkey bars (used by 5&8) as well as a trapeze bar used by all. We also have a log for balancing on, but a balance beam works too. Finally, I think sand of some sort has a long lifespan - sand table or box.

Trampoline
Dome climber

For years my kids and their friends used a parachute over the trampoline, and also over the dome climber to make tents.

We are finally moving into our new house next month and will have a nice sized backyard, which is something we don't currently have. What are your kids favorite backyard toys that keep them entertained other than a swing set? Kids are 13 months, 5 years and 8 years old. Thinking maybe some kind of bounce house but not sure what will be fun for all ages (I guess mostly the older two). Open to any ideas!
