Speaking of dregs what will ECNL do with all of the low quality clubs like Loudoun? It drags down the league quality. They have been bad the last 40 years.

GA formed from top notch former DA clubs. DA was better than ECNL. Being a smaller more exclusive 60 club league than the ECNL gives GA a better chance to be the top league. That seems to be the case regionally at least. ECNL is too big and so will always have poor quality clubs to deal with in each division. The best players will gravitate towards the smaller quality league with the US Soccer connections and more professional standards such as 10 month development program.
