1. Top recruits from 03/22 will get picked up early in fall.
2. Teams will make offers as its 2 years out and 1 year from signing.
3. If you did not go in to the new quiet period with momentum then we’ll.....
4. 04 / 22 players are at a disadvantage on the whole (not playing vs. 21’s)
5. Top conferences will be fine - so top recruits fine
6. Lower D1 / D2 in trouble if things persist
7. D3 fine - no scholarships for sports (quasi club)
8. This makes being in right league to be seen key in future
9. Coaches will have less funds so will travel to best concentration
10. You are thinking of your response now....but you know above is correct
This looks accurate to me. If your 04/22 hadn’t already done ID camps and-or gotten interest at showcases, it’s going to be a really tough haul. If your 04/22 HAS already done camps and gotten interest, might be easier but only at D1 schools whose women’s soccer programs are secure. Do you think those are Ivys and top 25s and schools who’ve already cut men’s soccer and need women’s soccer to balance football for Title IX?

What does quasi club mean? In your point #7.

When play resumes, hopefully shortly, I think 03 games will be heavily attended because 2021 classes need to be finished and 2022s will be taken quickly. I'm also partial to ECNL right now because I know scouting budgets will be spread thin and coaches will have to maximize the impact of showcase attendance.
From what I hear, things will be fast and furious come June 15, and probably more so for 03s since they've been seen more at this point than 2022 04s. Uncommitted 2021s will go quickly after 1-2 showcases, where coaches will have to get their final, confirmatory evaluations done and the class filled. A mid-July Jeff Cup and the first ECNL showcase - ECNL Nationals in Greensboro repackaged as a showcase(?) - will be really important for 2021 girls.
I understand FCV and VDA 04s are strong, but I don't think 2023s on those teams will be getting serious looks until spring 2021 or later. Only time will tell how many scouts will show for GA showcases.
The question is how colleges will get kids on campus for official visits this fall if campuses are closed. Let's hope not.

With the college coach communication channel opening up in a month for 2022 girls I’m wondering what the conversations with colleges might look like this summer and whether any of the 03-2021 girls’ parents in the area have any advice or communication tips they can share with us 04 parents. What are things looking like in these strange times? Are college coaches still talking to players? What are they asking about or advice are they giving?

I have an 04 who has some strong interest from a D1 program. The coach has been communicating with her coach and has recently requested full game film.
It appears that some programs do intend on beginning conversations with 04s as soon as possible.
