Np, and completely disagree. In fact, I just did the exact same thing today. I was hosting a webex video for 250 people. I asked my kids to be quiet for the hour so I could lead the call. 5 minutes before the call starts they were being loud in the kitchen. I went out and asked them again. They apologized and went to do their school work. My kids are 7 and 9.
It’s not rude at all to ask people to be quiet at specific times of the day so you can join calls.
