I have a perfectly nice kitchen in the style of Standard 2010s Flip -- white shaker cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops etc. I'm dying to rip it out and put in something with a little personality. I'm thinking full retro -- mint green or red appliances (the funkier the stove, the better), checkerboard floor, pastel-painted cabinets. Exactly how much would that tank my resale value?

I would do white cabinets and fun-colored appliances. Much easier for buyers to replace the appliances.
