This. If you are a AAA member they come to your home and replace it and take the old one away.

No, we have USAA. They know about the battery and didn’t offer so maybe they don’t offer that. I’ll double check. Thanks!

Yes to Costco.

We just had a battery replaced at the Honda dealership. It was around $180. We needed other work done so it was easier to do it all in one place, it maybe cost an extra $30. If I was just doing a battery replacement I'd probably go somewhere else, although the last autozone battery we got for the same car didn't last very long so maybe it was a false economy.

Take old battery out of car. Take old battery to autozone. Buy new battery, leave old battery at autozone for recycling. Take new battery home, put new battery in car. Done.


FYI, if you can get the car started, you can also do this in the parking lot of the auto parts store.

It takes about 90 seconds to remove a battery from a Civic and install another one.

Neither. Walmart batteries are surprisingly good and cheaper.
