I asked for kebab skewers and for him to grill kebabs. Also I want herb scissors. He and kid should be ordering them tonight. They are so sweet when they have a “secret” for me.

Typical quarantine Sunday for me. Run, do some yoga, go for a hike if it's nice out, do some yard work, hit the grocery store, read a bit, tune into some online concerts. Maybe reward myself with some awesome takeout. Kid will be at dad's.

I requested a fresh croissant from the 350 Bakery (we live nearby). That with OJ and coffee will make my day. I have been missing fresh pastries. I might request Monday off so we can go on a socially distant hike.

My parents will come over and hang out in the backyard, chairs 10 feet apart. Hopefully it'll be sunny and warm. Otherwise not much.

Sushi takeout. Haven’t decided what to ask for as a present. Of course we’ll call the grandmas.

Take out which we are probably going to take to my parents house. They live 5 mins away and I think we will eat it 6+ feet apart.

Zoom calls to my mother and mother in law. Last year we used Skype, but that's the only difference.

Sat we are going on a hike at my favorite state park.

Sunday we will probably go for a drive on the coast or in the mountains depending on the weather. Then DH will grill outside.

Will Zoom with my parents and in laws. Both mothers have requested no gifts or anything sent to the house (MIL nearly died of pneumonia last year and my dad has Parkinsons) because they are being super careful.

Kids are under 5, so we are planning to do a food carry out or delivery for my mother day. For MIL & my mom who live local within 30 min driving distance, we are not planning to meet them at all. We used to celebrate with them separately with eating out on mother day & we never do gifts. This year, I & DH are thinking either setup zoom to talk to them on mother day with grandkids, not sure if this is enough or not. We could also send them meal through restaurant delivery, but not sure if it is a good idea or not. I know that my mom would not want any restaurant delivery because she is paranoid of covid 19. My parents cook at home all the time. For MIL, maybe it is up to DH to decide.
