Subject: Re:Workers’ comp plan for nanny?
For one nanny, we pay something like $750 a year. We got it through State Farm since they have our homeowner's insurance policy.

Trying to get quotes for this and wondering what I should be paying for worker's comp for one nanny in DC.
Also, any companies besides BiBerk or Risk Exchange? Thanks!
Anyone willing to share what they pay annually for coverage for 1 nanny?

Oh - I could use this information, too. I just learned you're required to carry a workers' comp policy for nannies in DC.

I'm in the market for worker's comp insurance for our nanny. Any additional recommendations other than the couple already on here? Responses appreciated.

WE used BiBerk, which is an arm of Berkshire Hathaway. I am in DC and have State Farm for my homeowners policy and could not get we insurance through them.

State farm. Not sure if they provide them if you don't have a car or homeowners policy with them too. ~$300 (but our nanny is only part time).

I just wrote a check to Risk Exchange. It cost a bit more than $1,000 and covers three part-time workers (a house cleaner and two babysitters who exceed the nanny tax threshold per year).

How much is your policy and what insurance company provides them in DC? Thanks so much!
