Yes. Neighbors are co sheltering and left us out. We won’t emerge as friends after this. Not us, not our kids.

My truest friends have come through. checking on me and others regularly, and thinking of, making time for, their friends. Thank you good friends, I will always remember your kindness and love during this difficult time.

More friends than I would expect are still secretly dating, which in this case is entirely a euphemism for what they're doing in practice, but it's their life, they'll probably be fine, and they knew the risks going in.

Effect vs affect, people
Everyone I know is acting pretty much exactly how I would expect them to act. I have one friend who is usually pretty neurotic but is having a babysitter come which is surprising. I’m not judging - I’d consider it too - it just doesn’t seem like the kind of thing she would usually decide.

That’s what I’m doing, we even disinfect delivered groceries, but people extend invitations to back yard etc. I have turned them down...point of my post.

My take is that adult friendships have not been tested along the lines of risk tolerance-aversion like high school or college friendships. Remember in high school and college when friends grew apart over pot or drug use vs not being down with it? I'm having flashbacks when it comes to how people define social distancing, what they are comfortable with.
