I like having something just for me - that doesn't involve my DH or kids. Right now watching a show on netflix. Also working on a jigsaw puzzle and sometimes happy hours with friends. Pick something you like to do and try that.

Do you like movies? Or baking or yoga? Make sure you get something you like every single day.

I really like being outside so today sucks for me, but I'm going to try to get a lot of work done so when it's nicer another day. I will be caught up.

We are camping in our backyard on Saturday. My 7yo is so excited. Spouse thinks its lame but I said doesnt matter what we think, our kid will love it and its something different.

Movie nights and take out on Fridays.

family video game time (Mario Party, Mario Universe, Mario Kart
Pandemic Legacy (board game, yes we are those people)

Can't say this is a ton of fun, but at least keeps us busy.

I'd try to find something that you and your kid like to do together. Dancing to music or simple baking or a game you don't mind playing. I can't recall what we did when our kids were 4, though. I think we went on a lot of walks with the kid on the balance bike.

At the beginning of every week, we make a list of what we'll do each evening because I found that having something to look forward to, even if it's teeny-tiny, is very helpful in getting through the day.

This way too, we plan which nights we're getting delivery/pick-up and I REALLY look forward to those! Sometimes it's game night, movie, watching a TV show together, special dessert... not a lot of effort cause I don't have the juice for it.

I taught my kid how to dig dandelions out of the lawn today.

Eat inside a tent on weekends (camping foods like hot dogs, roast potatoes, s’mores)

Reggae/Motown/your favorite music night

Adopt some earthworms or fish for your kids to watch and care for

Grow something — even if you don’t have a garden, you can do a window box with herbs or flowers

Indoor obstacle course

FaceTime with grandparents

Bake, even if quick and simple

We had a family picnic tonight just to change things up. It was nice to be outside on a warmer day and have different scenery.

I am bored & tired at home, telework & take care of/entertain/homeschool 4 year old. What do everyone do at home for fun?
