We had the seat for two days. I spent 2+ hours trying to install it, but could not eliminate significant swaying in all directions when installed as instructed in the rear facing position. I was relieved when we were contacted regarding their voluntary recall.

They overnight shipped us an envelope, and had us cut off the harnesses and mail them back in the provided envelope (they did not want the seat back). Within 72 hours they had direct deposited our refund + $50 into our bank account. Although the seat was obviously a disappointment, their excellent customer service definitely made up for it. We just received a Nuna Rava today, and are much more pleased with the seat. Installation took about 5 minutes, and their is no sway in the seat after installation.

We bought 2. We replaced with the Clek Foonf. Made in Canada. Not China. And only car seat company to post crash reports. It’s a solid seat! uB handled our retrieval fast and with grace

Yup, Nuna Rave is great!

I also received a notice asking us to return just the buckle and straps for a full refund plus $50. We have already purchased the Nuna Rava and it is leaps and bounds better than the Knox in so many ways. It is easier to install and easier to get my son in and out of. We are going to miss the fun teal color of the UB seat but oh well. Now we have to figure out what to do with the old seat. Possibly make the base heavier and more stable to use as a movie/tv seat.... hahaha. Take care all.

Right? It's not even that expensive compared to others. Same price as a Britax and much less than a Nuna.

This is NOT a recall - it is a RETRIEVAL. They want to find out why it wiggles a little in the rear facing position. Just contact UPPAbaby directly and you will get a full refund

Thanks for posting this. We bought it and weren't happy with it for a variety of reasons. Glad we can return it!

I know a few moms posted recently about ordering one. They are being recalled and you are supposed to send yours back to the company for a refund so just an FYI!
