+1

And generally, clothing basics. You can never have too many onesies, footie pajamas, etc, especially in a variety of sizes. 0-3 is okay, 3-6 or 6-9 is better. Do not buy anything in a newborn size.

How about a welcome baby gift basket from WineCountry? That way there are cute things for baby included with non-perishable treats for the parents?

Is the toddler a girl? If so, I would get a cute outfit but in a larger size than 6 months (and consider the season accordingly).

Nordstrom has nice gifts and really great returns, so I would order something from there. Since it’s for a client I would skip worrying about something useful and just get something cute. Maybe a hooded towel, squiry bath toys and some PJs. Kissy kissy and the Nordstrom Baby line are both great options.

This is truly a case where the thought is what counts. You have a very low chance of getting them something really useful (this isn’t a criticism- it should be freeing!) so just get them something lovely and don’t spend too much time worrying about it

Monogrammed bibs and blankets were special for my second and third, because it showed that people were excited about *them as people.* My kids still get super excited to pull out their personal baby blankets and they are in elementary school.

baby wearing is highly personal. I know lots of people who had NO interested in baby wearing, ever.

Go to potterybarnkids.com and select the "gifts" tab and pick something from there.

And I don't care what people say on here. Every new baby in my life gets a PBK monogrammed blanket.

I've been tasked by my boss with buying a newborn gift for a boy to a client already with a toddler. I'm supposed to spend between 75-100. I have absolutely no idea. I figure since they already have the toddler they have most of what the will need for the baby. I've read on here that everyone hates getting baby blankets. Does anyone have any ideas? I've searched online but couldn't find a registry for them. TIA
