The roads are like 2AM on a weeknight but people are driving worse than ever. I’ve seen so many dumb things on the road.

Part of it is the speeding but I think another part is people just not driving as much so their skills are deteriorating.

LOL, if a cop pulls me over, I will not be wearing a mask and may cough a bit. Pull me over at your own risk!

And you should be charged with assaulting a police officer or possibly attempted murder.

For coughing?! I have allergies!

I can hear idiots racing on the beltway all day and all night. Way more than usual. Before the shutdown, we would hear it only at night and not all the time. I think the racers are taking advantage of less traffic.

Maryland state police are now picking up patrols and enforcement. They ticketed several people overnight including someone going over 110 mph. It’s crazy how fast people are going and how many trucks have been involved in accidents lately.

OP here. This just be it. I get the traffic MoCo alerts and the inner loop is shut down for an accident every week it seems.

I still drive to and from work. People are routinely driving 75-85 mph. on 95 and 395.

Yes. People speed through our neighborhood. No idea where everyone is in a rush to go.

Has anyone else noticed significantly more reckless drivers lately? I was just on the beltway driving to drop off groceries for my inlaws and was nearly in 2 collisions. . I was going 65-70 and being passed by people going much faster weaving in between cars. Several cut off trucks who had to swerve into my lane. Thankfully I keep a decent distance. Ugh. I feel bad for the truck drivers who are just trying to do a job.
