Ours had a late April return, but this week it's been changed to indefinitely closed.

For the mid-May poster, which federal agency daycare? Ours is in the GSA building and no word on reopening.

Our federal daycare just announced that all staff will be furloughed by late April. We will stop payment of our usual monthly tuition and instead pay a dramatically reduced monthly fee that covers the employees' health insurance premiums, minimal operational costs for keeping the center shut down in early May, and to keep the center's director employed. There is also a GoFundMe available that will be divvied up evenly among the staff.

No word on opening dates, but the tenor of the email makes it seem like the center will not expect to open anytime soon.

What's happening at the other federal agencies' daycare centers?
