You dry your just mopped floors with a dirty dishtowel?

Sure. It's not filthy. We've just been using it to dry our hands.

Use my trusty Floormate. Scrubs, washes and dries in an easy vacuum motion.
And I use it on my tiles, wood floors and laminate...all hard surfaces.

The floor is basically dry and I am marooned on the other side of the kitchen... just meeeeeeee
WHY DID I NOT THINK OF THIS SOONER?!

Paper towels under each foot. Have partner roll it to you

I found this out about gardening a few years ago. Weeding and raking are SO much more enjoyable with music or a podcast.

Marooned happened to my 12 year old son the first time he had to mop and I laughed SO HARD.

And now my kids fight over who gets to mop. Nobody likes to dust, and the vacuum they could take or leave. The dishwashing I reserve to myself because it's the most soothing and I'm sure DD would go crazy and spray water everywhere.

We got one of those O-Cedar spin mops and my 11 and 9 year olds argue about who gets to mop first with it.

LMAO...I have not mopped a floor or cleaned a bathroom in 20 years. I did both this week. I broke a sweat! I dearly miss my housecleaner who I am still paying.

I try to remember to wear socks. But my kitchen is tiny and I wash it weekly, so I have a routine that keeps me from getting backed into a corner.

I always dry it by skating across the floor with the dirty dishtowel from the week. But I won't tell you that. It's clearly very very wet (and probably dangerous to walk on). You should stay stuck in the kitchen for a bit longer.

Gold star! I found the smell of toilet bowl cleaner also scares away children and spouses...
