Ok, so I’m wondering if I wrote this post....
...same situation. Except my DC’ was maybe three weeks away from performance when school closed. So hadn’t gotten to the intense ramp-up phase.
Situation is complicated by fact that DC isn’t exactly engaged with in-line learning. So doesn’t need the distraction.
BUT if I ignore the email, DC will be replaced in the role. And DC will find out about it on socual media. Yikes.
So based on this thought process, I will forward email to DC, so DC will decide.
