I have grown both the bush and tree type. The bushes get enormous in full sun, like 8 feet tall in 3-4 years, so keep that in mind. My tree has been much smaller so far but I am also growing it in partial shade. Really you can’t go wrong with the limelight...very easy plant and lots of beauty added to the landscape for such small effort in comparison with other eye catching shrubs and perennials.

Mine are bushes, not trees, but I love them. They look great for months from when they start setting buds to when the leaves fall off.

Hi! Does anyone here have Limelight hydranga tree and do you recommend? We are starting from scratch doing our front of the house landscaping and want a small tree for the front corner of the house. Thanks!
