I see him for 5 mins in the morning.
I see him for 30 mins at lunchtime
I see him in the evening - it varies depending on work calls, for between 20 mins and 2 hours.

This is my normal and I'm fine with it. (except lunch, I wouldn't normally see him for lunch which is also totally fine!)

Have 3 kids. Early 40s.

I get a break when I sleep or when I shower or take a shit. Otherwise, kids require most of my attention all day and then once they get to bed, my DW usually wants to clean together or do work together. And then bedtime. Very little time to myself and I enjoy time to myself.

About 2 hours. During the first week we came up with a schedule that gives everyone a bit of free time that they get to do whatever they want. Sometimes we spend that time together, sometimes we don’t.

1/3 of the day. Some people need 1/2 which I think is also an ordinary amount.

I get zero 'away time' from anyone in my family. I'm talking all night, early morning, night. None.

Plenty! We are empty nesters and I have my own workroom and he has his office. Frankly, being locked in means I have more me time than I would like. I miss my friends, my kids.

Right now, I get my shower, and to walk the dog alone if I sneak out without the kids noticing (rare). I think when I'm working regularly (at the office) I need more "me" time but don't really get it.

How many hours a day do each of you get "me time" away from your spouse?
