Lol. Big law!

what does this even mean?

Big law attorneys already make a shit ton of money! You should’ve saved for a rainy day!

+10000 - they are drastically overpaid for the services that they provide. Of course, it's a free economy.

What does that have to do with needing a job? Even if OP saved every cent, he or she still needs a job.

Treasury is hiring tons of attorneys. Many vacancies for being an attorney-advisor in International Affairs of you are finance/ecpn focused, and plenty of positions in OFAC if you want compliance or national security type law

Are firms allowing associates to go work for nonprofits at a fraction of their regular pay, like in 2009? I would love to have one or two.

Facebook is also hiring in DC. I think I also saw a posting for Lockheed. Check LinkedIn (and update your profile and make yourself open to recruiters while you're over there).

Fed hiring hasn’t stopped yet. Get your applications in now because a hiring freeze will come.

Amazon has been hiring. Instacart is looking for people. Probably other similar businesses too.

But, in terms of law, a lot of people are going to be really screwed.
