+1... at some point, you have to say that if the owner of a car can’t determine on their own if a car is safe to drive or not, they probably shouldn’t be allowed to drive at all.

All inspections are extended by 60 days. So instead of 31 May I now have until the end of July.

Wear gloves to drive, park car outside in sun for a few days.

Do they change head to toe after each car? Otherwise how will that help contain spreading? If the first car of the day is contaminated, the tech could infect dozens that day just by getting in and out of cars.

I would. I'm leaving mine with the garage overnight tomorrow for an oil change Saturday. I am still driving to work every day and I cannot have any engine problems due to oil.

I'm in Virginia and my inspection expires this month. Debating what to do. One one hand I'd like to patronize my mechanic in this small way, if he's even open for business. On the other hand, would I have to sanitize the car after he touched anything on the inside? That seems kind of awkward, doing that before I drive away. But then, awkward doesn't seem like a good excuse for anything these days. What would you do? Is car inspection even considered an essential thing to do?
