You'd go to urgent care? I wouldn't go to urgent care for a fever that comes down with motrin even in normal times, but definitely not now. I wouldn't want to expose anyone else or be exposed. If I call the ped at night I just get the nurse advice line, which I have not once found useful. That's my least favorite thing about our ped practice. I did call my doctor aunt though, who recommended Motrin and fluids.

Some kids get fevers a lot and some don't. Be vigilant and I would call your doctor and set up a televisit if the fever lasts into tomorrow.
