We are on the great sports movie marathon of 2020. (though not Hoosiers or Rudy....yet).

The Fifth Quarter is a terrible terrible movie. (as in poorly made, written and acted). Even the 11 year old boy hated it.

There are approximately 43 thousand Marvel universe movies. Try some of those.

We have a similar age situation and we've really liked Talledega Nights and Vacation.

Seriously, I let my 12 and 14 year old watch anything, except basically straight up porn.

Yes some scenes are uncomfortable as a family but I just accept it.

All the good stories are basically R anyway. They are really old enough.

We are in the midst of a Marvel marathon- one movie a night in chronological order (not order of movie release). It's been really fun. Kids are 18 and 13.

We have several sons between the ages of 13-20.

Obviously the 18 and 20 year old can watch what they want, since they are adults, but we are looking for something that we won't be "uncomfortable" watching with them, and can also include our 13 and 15 year old.
At the same time, we don't want to be relegated to Disney and other rated "G" stuff.

The other night we watched "Dumb and Dumber" and it was 95% perfect--there was one scene (hotel scene) that was a little bit too "risque'--but not too bad. We discussed "Something About Mary" (which is one of my all time favorites) and Dh thinks it's too adult for the youngest.

Any suggestions?
